Theories of Learning and Virtual World (week 9)

The learning theories That help effective teaching strategies development in online environments they are: Behaviorism, Cognitivism, and Social constructivism. These theories of learning have been recognized as viable theories for explaining how people learn, and also reliable to guide instructional design since their inception. However, it been developed largely long before the arrive of the internet and the influx of technology that now exists.

Through the whole world, the epidemic situation is continuing due to the impact of COVID-19. According to WHO, COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered strain of coronavirus, a type of virus known to cause respiratory infections in humans. This new strain was unknown before December 2019, when an outbreak of pneumonia of unidentified cause emerged in Wuhan, China.                                           Due to COVID-19 effects, there have been around 50,000 people died, while approximately 1150,000 have been confirmed as positive cases. ICT IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING AND LEARNING The perception of using ICT in the classroom to teach the students is to integrate into the various tools of technologies as the pedagogical introduction in everyday education to facilitate students and teacher in the teaching and learning process .
